I've been exploring fantasy worlds since I was a small child, always squirreled away in my room reading. My bookshelf overflowed with anything I could get my hands on.

I started my first ill-fated novel in middle school before moving on to expanding my writing skills writing fanfiction. Exploring those stories showed me some of what good writing looked like--and also quite a bit of what very bad writing looked like. Now, I am almost done with my first draft of a real novel.

But in my pursuit of my own writing skills, I also became a thorough, articulate editor. I have done several beta reads of books in progress and have been relentless in my pursuit of the perfect structure of the next legendary fantasy novel.
